Last day...sad

In honor of our last day of vacation the weather gods decided to bless us with decent weather. We went to an uninhabited island called Ireland's Eye. There use to be some sort of watch tower on it but now it's a bird sanctuary. There were a lot of gulls and something that looked like cormorants (?) that nest on the island. It was very pretty with lots of wildflowers and rocky outcrops. It was also very grown up in areas. We got to some old ruins on one side of the island. Not many people went over there since we had to get through a lot of brush. Wish we has a machete, oh well. It kinda looked like something out of lord of the rings or the lion the witch and the wardrobe. Also while we were waiting for the ferry we watched what was either seals or escaped loch ness monsters outside the harbor following the fishing boats around. I suppose they were probably really just seals.
